The following changes were made only to
eMedic for Palm (version 3.8):
- A problem was fixed where on some Palm
computers, the numeric pad that is displayed in the Drip Calculator,
Dose Calculator, and O2 Tank Calculators did not work (tapping the
number buttons did nothing).
- The weight "140" was added to the Drip
and Dosage calculators.

The following changes were made only to
eMedic for Palm (version 3.7):
- In the Dosage Calculator, the total amount of medicine to be administered will now be displayed
simply by entering the order amount and the patient's weight (i.e., you no longer need to specify the concentration). This feature was previously available only in the Pocket PC and Windows versions.
- When a new database is found, it is presorted to improve performance.

This version corrected a problem with the Drip Calculator where the drip-set
was being calculated incorrectly. This problem began in the December 27, 2004 build (i.e., the problem existed
during this 14-day period).

A minor update to eMedic for Palm version 3.6 was released on December
27, 2004. This version corrects a problem where eMedic for Palm could stop running when opening a record
containing a large amount of information (e.g., the Medicine record "procainamide").

A minor update to eMedic for Palm version 3.6 was released on November
30, 2004. This version sorts the database when a new database is installed (e.g., during an upgrade) to improve
database merging.

The new features in eMedic for Palm version 3.6 include:
- A revised medical database includes of
hundreds of changes.
- A few minor cosmetic oddities were fixed (e.g., the tabs on the right side of
the screen could disappear temporarily, the Triage Calculator could display all of the dropdown lists when inappropriate,
and some "two stroke" characters could not be entered in the Quick Find control when using Graffiti 2, etc.).

MobileEMS was renamed
eMedic. MobileEMS was
sold and supported exclusively by Jones and Bartlett Publishers, Inc. through June 24, 2004. Customers who own PalmEMS or MobileEMS can
upgrade to eMedic for Palm.

eMedic for Palm version 3.5
(and later) displays high-resolution
color graphics. The change is stunning on the anatomical images (see below), but it also is obvious
on the tabs displayed on the master list (see right).
The high resolution graphics require a handheld computer that
supports 320x320 pixel screen resolution and that is running Palm OS version 5.0 or higher.
