Learn about program
changes made to all version 3.7 eMedic
programs (i.e., Palm, Pocket PC, and
Windows).
Learn about
changes made to the medical database in all
version 3.7 eMedic programs.
The following changes were made only to
eMedic for Windows (version 3.7):
- The version number
jumped from 1.1 to 3.7 so all eMedic products have
synchronized version numbers.
- You can now cancel when merging a new database. The next time eMedic for
Windows is started you will again get to choose how you want to handle
the new database.
- Fixed a problem in the Conversion Calculator where a comma could be displayed
incorrectly in a negative number (e.g., "-,123.4").
- In the Drip Calculator, the Order and Concentration fields were widened so larger numbers can be
entered.
- Lengthened the Convert list in the Conversion Calculator (i.e., the list that
contains Energy, Length, Temperature, etc.) so all items are displayed (rather than needing to use the scroll bar).
- In the Dosage Calculator:
- The term "Tablet(s)" was lowered a few pixels to align it with the number
of tablets to administer.
- The Order, Weight, and Concentration fields were widened so larger numbers
can be entered.

- A revised medical database includes of
hundreds of changes.
- A few minor cosmetic oddities were fixed (e.g., the See Also button could be displayed when there were not any See Also links, the "weight units" control on the Drip Calculator was in the wrong location,
etc.).
